At Wildground, we bring expertise in forests, nature, and sustainable supply chains to help businesses tackle deforestation and enhance their environmental impact.
Our services support companies to build transparent, deforestation-free supply chains, while our on-the-ground partnerships with communities create thriving conservation enterprises and promote agroforestry systems. By combining scientific knowledge with practical business insight, we bridge the gap between corporate sustainability goals and real-world conservation, enabling companies to protect nature, restore ecosystems, and invest in resilient community livelihoods.

“I’m Oliver Cupit, Founder & Director of Wildground. My mission is to help protect those wild spaces left on earth - thriving forests that are teeming with nature and sustaining livelihoods.
I’ve spent over 10 years helping businesses source forest and agricultural products responsibly. As an FSC auditor in the UK, I assessed a range of supply chain companies, from manufacturers to publishers. At Preferred by Nature, I supported firms like John Lewis and Bettenwelt with EUTR compliance, due diligence systems, and supply chain risk assessments. I’ve delivered due diligence training and audits worldwide—from furniture factories in China to small sawmills in the Solomon Islands. At ZSL, I led work tackling commodity-driven deforestation and wildlife loss across the palm oil, rubber, and timber sectors. I’ve advanced traceability through forensic timber testing, supported legal compliance in the Cameroon forestry sector, and helped raise sustainability standards in the rubber sector via GPSNR and by advising smallholders in Thailand on EUDR requirements.”
Where we work
We work on sustainability issues globally, helping buyers and financiers assess and mitigate risk in commodity supply chains.
Wildground is headquartered in the UK where we work with importers of forest-risk commodities and domestic farmers to enhance biodiversity. We support UK and EU importers on compliance with the EUTR, EUDR and TNFD alignment. We also bring field experience from working in a range of countries, directly or through partner organisations on the ground.
Our in-country partners provide local expertise, language and on-ground presence. This is particularly important for supplier engagement, training and auditing as well as for nuanced risk assessment.
Why Wildground?
