The underlying drivers of forest and biodiversity loss — the supply chain norms, commodity market incentives, and governance gaps that shape decisions made by companies, governments, and investors — require a different kind of engagement: patient, technical, and independent.

Your support enables us to work at the policy and systems level, in spaces where commercial models don't fit but where the leverage for change is greatest. This includes:

• Strengthening voluntary sustainability schemes — We work with initiatives like the Global Platform for Sustainable Natural Rubber (GPSNR) to help raise ESG standards across commodity supply chains, supporting smallholders and forests alike.

• Pro-bono support to smallholders and small enterprises — We work directly with actors in supply chains who lack the resources to implement sustainability initiatives but can have an outsized impact — whether as ambassadors for good practice or through their direct footprint in key landscapes.

• Independent research and advocacy — Producing the analysis and tools that practitioners, policymakers, and companies need to make better decisions for nature.

• Capacity and convening — Bringing together the right people to tackle problems that no single actor can solve alone.
